Very Baby Snug Wrap Diaper Cover Pattern - PDF Download

Snug Wrap™ cloth diaper covers are fast and easy to sew. Snug Wraps™ can be made with a conventional sewing machine. No serger or overlocker necessary.

This pattern comes with four different pattern pieces to make the following sizes:
XS/Newborn: birth - 12lbs
Small: 10lbs - 16lbs
Medium: 15lbs - 25lbs
Large: 22lbs - 40lb

YARDAGE REQUIREMENTS

Single Cover – 5/8 yard 60” wide waterproof fabric for one outer layer and wing facings. If you use 60” wide you’ll have enough waterproof fabric for a second outer layer for your next cover. 5/8 yard of 45” or 60” wide fashion print fabric. If you use 60” wide, you’ll have enough for a second outer layer for your next cover.

One Dozen Covers – Making many diapers at a time is the best way to maximize your fabric width and use fabric economically. 3 5/8 yard of 60” PUL will yield 12 large inner layers and wing covers. 3 5/8 yard of 60” wide fashion print fabric will yield 12 large outer layers. 22.5 yards of Fold Over Elastic will bind 12 large covers.

RECOMMENDED FABRIC

Cover Body Layers – The outside is a fashion print fabric. We recommend: Cotton or cotton blend knit prints, or cotton wovens such as high quality quilters cottons. The inner layer is a waterproof fabric. We recommend: Polyester Polyurethane Laminate “PUL”. We use polyester “PUL” fabric. You may also use a laminated print or a plain PUL fabric. Cotton prints may wick moisture, if you’d like to use these covers overnight use a polyester print on the outside, or omit the print altogether.
