I am actually going to have my mother teach me how to sew, just so I can sew my own cloth diaper covers. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to begin? I have no idea where to start. What fabric, what thread, how I'm supposed to do it, etc. Any advice from experienced sewers would be greatly appreciated. Also, it seems like it would cost less to sew your own but what is the usual cost after you have purchased all your material and accessories per cover? I am as green at sewing as can be.
