sew your own diapers

I have the VB pattern and have made 5 so far with the different variations from tutorials.  I'm wondering what the difference is between it and the Nykibaby pattern.   I want to make some before baby boy arrives and then try them  before i make alot of diapers.

Is it worth buying another pattern to try out or are they very similar?

I'd love to know your opinion on the 2 patterns.

Is there another one size pattern you would recommend?

I sew both to sell and they are very different patterns the sizing is bigger on Nykibaby(Longer rise and bigger waist over all)

As far as sales go at my shop I sell more Nykibaby then Vb at this moment

Are the instructions/sewing any different? or are the diapers just a different shape?
