Single or Double Row Snaps
« on: July 04, 2010, 03:39:17 PM »

I just got a pattern for a one size adjustable diaper, and it has the option of making 1 or 2 rows of snaps at the waist.  Other than the benefit of only having to apply 12 snaps instead of 20, is there any benefit or are there any pros and cons of using 1 row instead of 2?  I've never used these diapers before so I'm not familiar with them, and I thought I would ask y'all before I make it.

I'm so sorry you haven't had an answer!

Two rows can prevent wing droop - you know where the diaper is all snapped up and the edges of the front tummy panel can slip out?  Two rows of snaps can prevent that.  That said, I get lazy and like the one row with an extra hip snap - less snaps to apply!
