Any body make these? I like the idea of OS but how do they compare sewing wise and wearability?

I've not sewn any yet (tho have got the pattern) but I do have about 12 CB diapers and I love them - they are one of my favourites. They fit really well and have great containment (my baby was fully BF for 6m+). HTH

I have made a whole bunch of cuddlebuns.  They aren't any harder to sew than a VB diaper.  One thing I would say is they take a lot more snaps, and if you are making a lot it can get time consuming to put them all on.  Unless you use aplix of course.

I never used them on my son when he was a newborn, but used them later on.  I think if you were to use them on a smaller baby you would want to do the bikini cut version, otherwise they are kinda wide in the crotch.  But I liked them when I used them.  I liked the idea of the one size diaper too, but I thought they kinda wore out faster since they got used more than if you switched sizes every so often.  If that makes sense.  Oh, I also made a few for a friend of mine to use on her kids and they did not fit her girl.  She had very chunky thighs and a thick middle and they just didnt' fit even on the biggest setting.  So while they fit most children, if you have a chunky toddler they may not be the best choice.

Hope that helps some.

Thanks for the replies. I have been making the Very Basic, but thought the OS was interesting I have yet to even try a fitted. Well, it's worth a try.

I haven't sewn any cuddlebuns yet, either, though I do have the pattern, and I have a few CB diapers.
They're not my absolute favorite one-size diaper (that honor goes to Pinhead diapers), but they're definitely second on my list!  If you buy the pattern now, they include a Newborn size bonus pattern, too.  I REALLY liked those for the newborn stage - again, they were my #2 favorite for newborn diapers.
If you make them with knit fabrics, they really should do you fine from about 10-35+ lbs.  I second the suggestion to follow the Bikini-cut instructions - they really do fit a lot better that way. (Unless you have a wide-butted little one Wink)

I made some when the pattern first came out a handful of years ago.  Back then the pattern was a wee bit difficult to follow (though the pattern sheet itself was fantastic) but I believe it has been revised since then.  If it still has it, I got a little confused when they named the layers of the diaper body with letters.  So you'd be reading along and it could get confusing to layer A and D and then B or whatever it was - but if you're familiar with making diapers, it's a no brainer.

I liked them, I used the one size feature after my baby was a bit bigger (too big for a newborn), but back then they didn't have the newborn pattern included.

They are easy to sew (if you get past the direction book).  Fits not too bad, but I havent used them on a small baby yet so I don't know about the fit for little babies.  But I'm just undecided on OS diapers.

Is the Cuddlebuns pattern still available anywhere?  I looked for it yesterday and couldn't find it anywhere.
