Our Hemp Jersey is 55% Hemp / 45% Cotton and weighs 7.1 ounces per square yard. The fabric is tubular measuring approximately 27" wide. (When you cut open the tube the fabric is approximately 54" wide).

Hemp Jersey is a smooth, thin, knit on both sides like the cotton jersey commonly used in t-shirts.

Hemp fleece is popular for all body layers in fitted diapers, prefolds, or just for use in soaker pads and doublers. Use 5 - 6 layers in a soaker pad. You can also use fewer layers in combination with some thicker layers of hemp fleece or hemp terry.

Pre-Washing Instructions: Hemp can shrink up to 5 inches. Wash on hot and dry on hot using the same detergent you will when your item is sewn. Repeat if necessary. Avoid fabric softener and bleach.
