Burley Knit Terry is the common name known in the cloth diapering community for a long looped, thick, stretch terry. The loops are longer and thicker than most terry cloths, which makes for a very soft absorbent fabric.

Our Burley Knit Terry is 60" wide, 90% cotton with a polyester back for durability and is approximately 21 ounces per yard.

Use Burley Knit Terry in your soaker pads: 3 layers is sufficient. Some popular diaper makers also offer complete diapers made of this fabric. Experiment so you don't end up with a diaper that is too bulky for your baby to wear. This fabric would also make lovely towels and bathrobes.

Pre-Washing Instructions: Wash on hot and dry on hot using the same detergent you will when your item is sewn. Avoid fabric softener and bleach.
