Frustrated with the difficulty of finding diaper making supplies locally, and tired of waiting for months to receive goods ordered through co-ops; Jessica started planning a business that would cater to the cloth diapering community by offering all the diaper making supplies they'd need in one easy location on the web.

Jessica started selling a wide variety of hard to find cloth diaper fabric, specialty notions, and diaper sewing patterns online in April of 2002. Opening under the name the One Stop Diaper Shop she was shocked to discover her little store was an immediate, overnight success.

Eric quit his day job soon after the new diaper fabric store launched and has been working full time ordering, cutting, and shipping diaper fabric and supplies all over the world ever since!

After several years of consistent growth, Jessica and Eric merged the One Stop Diaper Shop with their diaper pattern company, Very Baby. In early fall of 2007, Very Baby launched, continuing to bring the diaper sewing community quality cloth diaper making supplies.

Jessica keeps the online store, discussion forums, customer photo groups, and social media for Very Baby running smoothly. She is the resident web designer, product photographer, and hard copy writer across all of the Very Baby websites. She homeschools their four children, enjoys sewing, and loves to sleep when she has the time.

Eric processes customer orders, takes business phone calls, answers questions, cuts endless yards of fabric, packs customer boxes, and ships diaper making supplies the world over every day. He built the large warehouse that houses the day to day Very Baby operations, enjoys growing tomatoes, and loves being able to work from home.
